Concern for Missing Bethesda Teenager (LOCATED)

Update: September 30, 2021 - Joseph De La Paz has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigation Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old male from Bethesda.  

 

Joseph De La Paz was last seen on Monday, September 20, at approximately 7:30 a.m., at Chevy Chase High School located on East West Highway. 

 

De La Paz is approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen carrying a black backpack and wearing a black polo shirt, a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jean pants.  

 

Police and family are concerned for his physical and emotional welfare.
