Concern for Missing Silver Spring Woman (LOCATED)

Update: October 28, 2021 - Katty Melgar Flores has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult female.

 

On Monday, October 25, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Katty Melgar Flores, age 20, was last seen exiting her residence on Amherst Ave. in Silver Spring.  

Flores is 5-feet tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.  

 

Police and family are concerned for her physical and emotional welfare.  

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Katty Melgar Flores is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
