Concern for Missing Derwood Man

For Immediate Release: Monday, November 1, 2021

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult male. 

  

On Sunday, October 31, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Daniel Daipong Wang, age 78, was last seen leaving his residence on Catalpa Ct. in Derwood.  

 

Wang is 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs 146 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, a gray long sleeved shirt and black shoes. He also wears glasses.

  

Police and family are concerned for his physical welfare.   

 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Daniel Daipong Wang is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
