Concern for Missing Hyattsville Juvenile; Taken in Stolen Vehicle (UPDATED)

Update: November 26, 2021 -  Lorrelys Imelda Benitez was located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD -  Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 10-year-old female from Hyattsville.

Lorrelys Imelda Benitez was last seen at approximately 10:58 p.m. on November 25 in the 1300 block of Fenwick Lane in Silver Spring.  Benitez was waiting inside of her mother's gray 2013 Honda Pilot bearing Maryland Registration plate 5EN1799, when an unknown male entered the vehicle. At the time of the incident, the mother of Benitez was not inside of the vehicle. The suspect fled the scene in the stolen vehicle with Benitez inside. 

Benitez is approximately 5-feet, 1-inch tall. She has long brown curly hair. Benitez was last seen wearing blue overalls, a blue striped shirt with a gray jacket and black and white shoes.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.
