Concern For Missing Silver Spring Man (LOCATED)

Update: November 29, 2021 - Joseph Efrain Salazar has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police - 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult male.

On November 26, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Joseph Efrain Salazar, age 28, was last seen leaving his residence in the 3100 block of Schubert Drive in Silver Spring.  Salazar was driving a Gray 2013 Hyundai Elantra sedan bearing Maryland Registration Tag 6CT7622.

Joseph is 5-foot, 6-inches tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds.  He has brown hair and brown eyes. Joseph was last seen wearing a blue Fila brand sweatshirt, denim blue jeans and black Vans brand athletic shoes.

Police and family are concerned for his physical and emotional welfare.
