Detectives Investigate Identity Theft Case - Ask for Public's Assistance to Identify Suspect

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 5th District – Patrol Investigations Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an identity theft case.    


On December 16, 2021, the suspect visited multiple credit unions in Montgomery County and withdrew over $10,000 from the victims’ accounts using a fraudulent driver’s licenses.  


The suspect is described as a white female, between the ages of 40-50 years old.    


Detectives were able to obtain photographs of the suspect.    


Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about this incident is asked to call the 5th District Patrol Investigations Unit at (240) 773- 6262. Callers may remain anonymous.
