Concern for Missing Silver Spring Man

For Immediate Release: Friday, March 18, 2022

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Cold Case Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from Silver Spring.

Nelson Figueroa, age 23,  was last seen on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in the area of New Hampshire Avenue in Takoma Park.

Figueroa is 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan hat, silver jacket, black pants and green shoes.

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Nelson Figueroa is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.
