Concern for Missing Laytonsville Man (LOCATED)

Update: April 4, 2022- Bobby Chavis has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from Laytonsville. 

Bobby Chavis, age 57, was last seen on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at approximately 3 p.m., at his residence in the 5800 block of Riggs Road.

Chavis is approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs 210 pounds. He has brown eyes and black and white hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey sweatpants and black Nike sneakers.

Chavis may be in the Washington, D.C. area. 

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
