Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Teenager (LOCATED)

Update : April 5, 2022 -  Liz Salmeron-Banegas has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigation Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager from Gaithersburg.    

   

Liz Salmeron- Banegas, age 14, was last seen on Friday, April 1, 2022, at approximately 6 p.m., in the 400 block of Muddy Branch Road.  

  

Salmeron- Banegas is approximately 5-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. Salmeron- Banegas has a belly button piercing. It is unknown what she was last seen wearing.  

 

Salmeron- Banegas may be traveling with another missing teenager, Nevaeh Castro.  

 

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.
