Concern for Missing Germantown Man (LOCATED)

Update: May 13, 2022 - Shafqat Kadir has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 76-year-old man from Germantown. 

 

On Thursday, May 12, 2022, Shafqat Kadir left his residence in the 18700 block of Pikeview Dr. He is driving a gray 2015 Honda Civic bearing Maryland license plate 6DYV46.  

 

Kadir is 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has grey hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what clothing he was last seen wearing. 

  

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
