Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Man

For Immediate Release: Saturday, May 28, 2022

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from Gaithersburg. 

Raul Orbegoso, age 78, was last seen on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at approximately 7 a.m., in the 980 block of Clopper Road. 

Orbegoso is approximately 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black or red shirt and white Nike sneakers. 

Police and family are concern for his welfare. 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Raul Orbegoso is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Montgomery County Police - 6th District Investigative Section at (240) 773- 5770. Callers may remain anonymous.
