Concern for Missing Silver Spring Man

For Immediate Release: Monday, June 13, 2022

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police - 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from Silver Spring.   

  

Today, June 13, 2022, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Gary Darnell Dyson, age 61, was last seen in downtown Silver Spring.  

  

Gary is 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs approximately 240 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.    

  

Police and family are concerned for his emotional and physical welfare.   

  

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Gary Darnell Dyson is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the 3rd District Investigative Section at (240)773-6870. Callers may remain anonymous.
