Concern for Missing Thirty-Nine-Year-Old (LOCATED)

Update: Meron Gebrehiwot has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD- Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Cold Case Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 39-year-old from Silver Spring.  

  

Meron Gebrehiwot was last seen on Friday, June 24, 2022, in the 1900 block of Featherwood St. 

 

Gehrehiwot is 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a long dress and a head scarf.  

 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Meron Gebrehiwot is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Major Crimes Division – Cold Case Unit at 240-773-5070. Callers may remain anonymous.
