Update: August 2, 2022 - Jacob Maxim Loethen has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old from Damascus. 

Jacob Maxim Loethen was last seen on Friday, July 29, 2022, in the 27200 block of Ridge Rd. 

Loethen is approximately 5-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 90 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing black rimmed glasses, a grey ‘NASA’ T-shirt, red shorts and royal blue tennis shoes. 

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
