Detectives Investigate Commercial Burglary ; Surveillance Photos Released

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are investigating a commercial burglary that occurred on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the Cloverly Citgo gas station in the 15500 block of New Hampshire Ave. Detectives have released surveillance photos of the male suspects and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.


At approximately 10p.m., 4th District Officers responded to the location for the report of a burglary that just occurred.


The investigation by detectives has determined that two suspects forced entry into the gas station, stole an undisclosed amount of money and left the scene.


A review of the gas station surveillance cameras showed photos of the two suspects.


One of the suspects is described as a Black male, thin build, carrying a gray backpack and wearing a burgundy hooded sweater, black jeans and white/black shoes.


The other suspect is as a Black male, thin build, carrying a black sling bag and wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans and white/black shoes.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. Callers can remain anonymous.
