UPDATE : September 9, 2022 - Groom Bezie has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old from Burtonsville. 

Groom Bezie was last seen at approximately 6 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2022, in the 14500 Block of Almanac Dr.  

Bezie is approximately 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey sweatshirt, and possibly a hat with a ’DC’ logo. 

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
