Detectives Investigate Car Dealership Commercial Burglary and Auto Thefts; Surveillance Video Released

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are investigating a commercial burglary and auto thefts that occurred on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Universal Auto Group, in Silver Spring. Detectives have released surveillance video of the four suspects and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.  

At approximately 1:47 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to 2200 block of Distribution Cir. for the report of a burglary.  

The investigation by detectives has determined that four unknown suspects forced entry into the car dealership, stole an undisclosed number of car keys and four cars: a white 2017 Mercedes Benz GLS, gold 2019 Mercedes Benz GLC, white 2019 Mercedes Benz S450 and a white 2019 BMW X3.
