Detectives Investigate Church Burglary in Potomac; Video of Suspects Released

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are investigating a burglary that occurred on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Scotland AME Zion Church in the 10900 block of Seven Locks Rd. in Potomac. Detectives have released a video of the suspects and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.    

 

At approximately 11 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to the location for the report of a burglary that just occurred.  

 

The investigation by detectives has revealed that the suspects forced entry into the church, vandalized property and left the scene.  

 

Detectives reviewed the surveillance cameras of the property and obtained video of the suspects.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. Callers may remain anonymous.
