MEDIA ADVISORY: Heroes and Helpers Holiday Shopping Event

WHO:      Montgomery County Police Department

             

WHEN:    Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 8 to 11 a.m.   

   

WHERE:  Target Rockville Store   

        5700 Bou Ave., Rockville, MD 20852   

   

Montgomery County Police officers will be paired up with 96 pre-selected children to have a fun holiday season by using Target gift cards donated by the Police Foundation, to purchase gifts at Target stores throughout Montgomery County.

 

Montgomery County officers will help the young shoppers to create a budget, prioritize their wish list, and complete their shopping.  All items are paid for with the donated Target gift cards.   

 

  

For the media: 30 children will be shopping at the Bou Avenue Target location.  Target management has allowed cameras in specific locations within the Bou Avenue store. Please contact the Public Information office to confirm attendance.
