Detectives Investigate Bethesda Residential Burglary

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Thursday, November 24, 2022, in Bethesda. Detectives have released surveillance video of the suspects and are asking the public’s assistance in identifying them.

At approximately 9 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to the 4800 block of Fairmont Avenue for the report of a residential burglary that occurred earlier.

The investigation by detectives has determined that at approximately 6:10 p.m., two vehicles, a silver Honda and an orange SUV stopped in front of the condominium complex. After two male suspects exited the Honda, both vehicles drove away from the scene. One of the male suspects then forced entry into a second story apartment, while the second suspect acted as a lookout. Once inside, the suspect rummaged through the residence stealing property and an undisclosed amount of cash. Upon exiting the apartment with the stolen items, the suspects left the scene in the Honda, followed by the orange SUV.
