Concern for Missing Fifteen-Year-Old from Wheaton (LOCATED)

UPDATE: Emerson Joel Funes Marquez has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating, Emerson Joel Funes Marquez, a missing 15-year-old from Wheaton.   

Funes Marquez was last seen on Thursday, February, 2, 2023, at approximately 2:30 p.m., in the 11900 block of Lafayette Drive.  

Funes Marquez is 5-feet, 5-inches to 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, khaki cargo pants and white slides.  

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
