Concern for Missing Thirteen-Year-Old (LOCATED)

UPDATE: Genesis Chavez has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD- Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 13-year-old from Aspen Hill.

Genesis Chavez was last seen on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at approximately 7 a.m., in the 3400 block of Hewitt Avenue.

Chavez is approximately 5-feet tall and weighs 115 pounds. She has short black hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what she was last seen wearing.

She may be traveling with missing teen Elia Rosado Gamez.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.
