Concern for Missing Eighty-Five-Year-Old Woman

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, April 26, 2023

Gaithersburg, MD- Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigations Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mary Lee Overton, a missing 85-year-old woman from Silver Spring.

Overton was last seen on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at approximately 2 p.m., in the area of Hanover St. and Grace Church Rd. She may be traveling to the Downtown Silver Spring or Friendship Heights areas.

Overton is approximately 5-feet, 5-inches tall. She has brown eyes, grey hair and was last seen wearing a black jacket and brown pants.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.
