Concern for Missing Fifteen-Year-Old (LOCATED)

UPDATE: Emily Velasquez has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD- Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Emily Velasquez, a missing 15-year-old from Gaithersburg. 

Emily was last seen on Monday, May 15, 2023, at approximately 11 p.m., in the 19300 block of Pointsetta Court in Gaithersburg.  

Emily is approximately 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 150. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts. 

Police and family are concerned for her welfare. 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Emily Velasquez is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.
