Concern for Missing Thirteen-Year-Old (LOCATED)

For Immediate Release: Thursday, May 25, 2023

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Norma Lisseth-Amaya, a missing 13-year-old from Silver Spring.  

Norma was last seen on Thursday, May 25, 2023, in the 3000 block of Weller Road.  

Norma is approximately 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has auburn hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what clothing she was last seen wearing.  

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Norma Lisseth-Amaya is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at (240) 773-5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
