Concern for Missing Fourteen-Year-Old (LOCATED)

UPDATE: Dakota Lillian Nicole Smith has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Dakota Lillian Nicole Smith, a missing 14-year-old from Montgomery Village.   

 

Dakota was last seen on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at approximately 11 p.m., at her residence on Loading Rock Place in Montgomery Village.    

 

Dakota is approximately 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs 156 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.  

 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Dakota Lillian Nicole Smith is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.
