Concern for Missing Rockville Teen (LOCATED)

UPDATE: Hector Steven Argueta Alvarez has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Hector Steven Argueta Alvarez, a missing 13-year-old from Rockville.     

    

Hector was last seen on Monday, June 12, 2023, at approximately 7:40 a.m., in the 700 block of Lenmore Avenue.   

    

Hector is approximately 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs 97 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a Puma logo on the front.  

  

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.     

    

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Hector Steven Argueta Alvarez is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.
