Concern for Missing Fourteen-Year-Old (LOCATED)

Update: Jayleen Natalie Chavez has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jayleen Natalie Chavez, a missing 14-year-old from Rockville.

Chavez was last seen on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at approximately 8:15 p.m., in the 10300 block of Strathmore Hall St.

Chavez is approximately 5-feet tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a blue crop top, beige sweater, dark colored jeans and blue and black Jordan sneakers.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.
