Montgomery Village Man Wanted for Murder

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, August 22, 2023

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Homicide Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for a July murder.

20-year-old Lawrence Marcellus Marshall, IV is wanted in connection with the shooting death of 40-year-old Cedric Warner.

Marshall, IV is accused of shooting Warner on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, in the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, charging Marshall, IV with first-degree murder.
