Montgomery County Police invites community members to attend this presentation to learn how MCPD would like to use drones to enhance public safety leading to safer communities, de-escalation and efficiency.  

 

The Drone as First Responder (DFR) program utilizes an unmanned aircraft system to fly to a call for service and arrive prior to, or in conjunction with, first responders on the ground. DFR assists in helping evaluate the scene and circumstances before officers arrive and while an event is ongoing.
