Fourth District Detectives Investigating Attempted Robbery and Hit and Run

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section, are looking for suspects involved in an attempted robbery and hit and run.

On Friday, September 15, 2023, at approximately 11:45 a.m., 4th District officers responded to the 11000 block of Conti Place, for a report of an assault.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a juvenile male victim was with a group of people at the above location. The victim was approached by individuals who got out of a light grey Hyundai Elantra, assaulted, and attempted to rob the victim. One of the suspects was reported to be armed with a handgun.

The suspects left and then returned in the Hyundai and intentionally hit the victim with the car. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
