Gaithersburg, MD- Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit - Auto Crime Enforcement Section (ACES) are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who stole a 2017 Hyundai Sonata.

On October 15, 2023, the owner of the Sonata reported his vehicle stolen between the hours of 3:30 and 7:30 a.m. The Sonata was later recovered outside of Montgomery County.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives obtained photos of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a Black male, wearing a black coat with a fur hood, black pants with a white stripe on the side and white shoes.
