Detectives Investigate Death of Sixty-Year-Old Man

For Immediate Release: Friday, December 1, 2023

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in determining what led to a man’s death on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

At approximately 8:10 a.m., officers from the Gaithersburg Police Department responded to the 200 block of Old Macdonald Rd. for the report of a man who was not conscious or breathing.

Despite lifesaving measures by Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel, 60-year-old Charles Claggett was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division responded to the location and are investigating.
