Detectives Investigate Old Columbia Pike Restaurant Burglary; Surveillance Photos of Suspects Released

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police- 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly committed a commercial burglary on Monday, February 19, 2024. Detectives have released surveillance photos of the suspect.


At approximately 3:45 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to the Don Ramon Restaurant in the 13800 block of Old Columbia Pike, for the report of an alarm.


The preliminary investigation by detectives has revealed that an unknown male suspect forced entry into the restaurant and stole property before leaving the scene.


Detectives obtained surveillance photos of the suspect.


The suspect is described as a male, wearing a black hat, short-sleeve black shirt, red pants, black shoes, black gloves and carrying a grey backpack.
