Detectives Investigate Ridge Road Attempted Burglary; Surveillance Video of Suspects Released

Gaithersburg, MD- Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects who allegedly committed an attempted burglary on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

At approximately 9:14 p.m., 5th District officers responded to the 25100 block of Ridge Rd., for the report of an attempted burglary.

The preliminary investigation by detectives revealed that two unknown male suspects attempted to break into the residential complex and bike lockers with no success.

Detectives obtained surveillance video of the suspects.

The first suspect is wearing a face covering, a dark colored jacket with a hoodie underneath, light colored pants and carrying a backpack.

The second suspect is wearing a light colored hoodie, light colored pants and carrying a backpack.
