Hyattsville Man Charged with Rockville Home Invasion Robbery

For Immediate Release: Monday, March 25, 2024

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division have arrested and charged 33-year-old Jaron Dante Ray, of Hyattsville, with the home invasion robbery that occurred on Monday, July 10, 2023, on Key West Avenue in Rockville. 

 

Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified Ray as a suspect involved in the home invasion robbery.

 

On Thursday, February 29, 2024, detectives obtained an arrest warrant against Ray, charging him with first-degree assault, armed robbery, theft and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

 

On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Ray was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is being held without bond.
