WHAT:  Arrest of Rockville Teen Charged with Threats of Mass Violence

WHEN:  Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11 a.m.

The arrest follows a joint investigation by MCPD and the FBI Baltimore Field Office, initiated after the FBI notified MCPD about a 129-page “manifesto,” authored by Ye.

Ye was taken into custody and charge with threats of mass violence. Ye is currently being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, awaiting a bond hearing.
