Detectives Investigate Theft from Auto and Vandalism of Twenty-One Vehicles; Surveillance Video of Suspects Released

Gaithersburg, MD - Officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police - 3rd District Station are investigating the theft from auto and vandalism of twenty-one vehicles that occurred on Monday, December 2, 2024, in the area of Belvedere Boulevard, Woodland Road, Dameron Drive, Forest Grove Drive and Forest Glen Road.

The investigation has revealed that at approximately 2:30 a.m., four suspects vandalized and broke into the vehicles and stole an undisclosed amount of money from one of the vehicles.

 

Detectives reviewed the residential surveillance video and obtained a description for the suspects. The footage shows two of the four suspects breaking into a vehicle parked in the driveway, while the third suspect pointed a handgun towards the residence and the fourth suspect acted as a lookout. The suspects then left the scene.
