MEDIA ADVISORY: Heroes and Helpers Holiday Shopping Event

WHO:      Montgomery County Police Department

             

WHEN:    Sunday, December 15, 2024

                Media availability 10 to 11 a.m.

   

WHERE:  Target (Rio)

        25 Grand Corner Ave., Gaithersburg, MD, 20878   

   

WHAT: Montgomery County Police officers will be paired with pre-

selected children to shop using Target gift cards donated by the

Police Foundation and Target.

 

 

Montgomery County officers will help the young shoppers to create a budget, prioritize their wish list, and complete their shopping.  All items are paid for with the donated gift cards.

 

  

For the media: Target management has allowed cameras in specific locations within the store. Please contact the Public Information office to confirm attendance.
