Montgomery County Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Convicted Sex Trafficking Offender

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Vice & Intelligence Unit are asking for the public's assistance in locating Ernest Gerald Wilkerson, who is wanted for failure to comply with pre-trial conditions following a sex trafficking conviction.

On February 22, 2024, Wilkerson was convicted of two counts of sex trafficking and two related prostitution charges. As a condition of his pre-trial release, he was fitted with an ankle monitor. On March 7, 2024, the Pre-Trial Services Unit was alerted that the ankle monitor had been tampered with, and Wilkerson has not been seen since. A bench warrant for his arrest was issued on March 12, 2024.

Detectives are urging anyone with information about Wilkerson’s whereabouts to come forward.
