Silver Spring Man Charged in Connection with Series of Commercial Armed Robberies

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division have arrested 24-year-old Domonique Nicholas Walker, of Silver Spring, with a series of commercial armed robberies that occurred between November 2024 to February 2025.


The investigation by detectives has revealed that Walker displayed a weapon and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the following businesses:

 

Wednesday, November 13, 2024 – 7Eleven at 12257 Tech Road (armed robbery).

 

Friday, November 22, 2024 – Sweet Frog at 11211 New Hampshire Avenue (armed robbery).

 

Saturday, December 7, 2024 – 7Eleven at 12257 Tech Road (armed robbery).

 

Thursday, December 19, 2024 Tropical Smoothie Café at 12263 Tech Road (armed robbery).

 

 Saturday, January 25, 2025  Ertters Market at 521 Dale Drive (armed robbery).

 

 Thursday, February 6, 2025  Ertters Market at 521 Dale Drive (armed robbery).

 

Saturday, February 8, 2025 Saron Beer & Wine at 961 Bonifant Street (attempted armed robbery).

 

Tuesday, February 11, 2025 7Eleven at 1301 University Boulevard East (armed robbery-Takoma Park Police is investigating this crime).

 

Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified Walker as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant against him, charging him with multiple counts of armed robbery and related charges.

 

On the morning of Tuesday, February 11, 2025, detectives arrested Walker in Silver Spring and executed a search and seizure warrant at his residence, where items of evidentiary value were recovered.

 

Walker has been transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is being held without bond.
