MCPD Launches Public Comment Portal for Policy Revisions

Gaithersburg, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police – Policy and Planning Division has launched a public comment portal, giving residents an opportunity to provide feedback on policies open for revision. 

 

Community members can access the portal by visiting the MCPD website at https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/pol/. On the homepage, locate the section titled "MCPD Policies Open for Comment." Clicking this link directs users to a page listing current policies under review and the list will be updated monthly. Residents can share their input by reviewing and commenting on policies during their revision periods.

 

This initiative reflects MCPD's ongoing commitment to transparency and community involvement. By inviting public input, the department aims to ensure that its policies align with the needs and expectations of our community.
