Detectives Investigate Cherry Hill Road Armed Robbery; Suspect Photos Released

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Cherry Hill Road. They have released surveillance photos of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at approximately 4:40 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to an armed robbery at the Aldi’s located in the 12000 block of Cherry Hill Road.

Detectives have determined that the suspect entered the Aldi, stole items, concealing them in his backpack and then left the store, while displaying a knife.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20 to 30-years-old, 5-feet, 5-inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and carrying a dark colored backpack with white markings.
