For Immediate Release: Thursday, June 12, 2025

Gaithersburg, MD - Two suspects are in custody after the interruption of a commercial burglary in progress.

On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at approximately 4:30 a.m., officers from the Montgomery County and Howard County Police Departments identified a stolen white Ford van in the 8200 block of Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring.

Officers observed the van parked directly in front of a Sunoco gas station. They witnessed one suspect, later identified as 30-year-old Deandre Isley, force entry into the business and enter the store. A second suspect, 34-year-old Kevin Davis, acted as a lookout before also entering the store.

Once inside, Davis removed a cash register drawer and a container holding lottery tickets and began carrying them toward the stolen van. Meanwhile, Isley entered the office area with a large bag, filling it with several items.

When officers approached, both suspects ran away, but were apprehended by Montgomery County Police officers.

Isley and Davis, both of Washington, D.C., have been charged with second-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary, and auto theft. They are currently being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, with a bond hearing scheduled for June 12.
