Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating an armed robbery of the 7-Eleven Store that occurred on Monday, July 14, 2025, in the 100 block of Rollins Avenue in Rockville. Detectives have released surveillance photos of two suspects and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.
The investigation has revealed that suspect one entered the store and attempted to distract the lone cashier. Suspect one walked up to the register, and then to the food display and ordered food. Suspect two then entered the store, jumped over the counter and displayed a knife to the cashier. Suspect one told suspect two which items to take from behind the counter. Suspect two grabbed property and ran out the door with suspect one, heading towards E. Jefferson Street.
Detectives reviewed the surveillance footage of the store and obtained a description of the suspects.
Suspect one is described as a Black male, with black short hair, approximately 16 to 19-years of age, wearing a black t-shirt, dark jeans, tennis shoes and a black cross-body bag.
Suspect two is described as a Black male, armed with a kitchen knife, wearing a black puffer style jacket, a black ski mask, a blue backpack, light blue jeans with rips and Nike Jordan shoes.
