Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section have released surveillance video of an adult male suspect involved in a stabbing that occurred on Saturday, August 2, 2025, near the intersection of Fern Street and University Boulevard West in Wheaton.
At approximately 3:20 a.m., 4th District officers responded to the area for the report of a stabbing.
The investigation revealed that, as a group of people was leaving an area restaurant, an altercation occurred, during which the suspect stabbed a male victim.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 28 years old, with a thin build, short black hair, a goatee, an ear piercing, and visible tattoos on both arms.
He was last seen wearing a white Nicaragua baseball jersey with the number 16 in blue on the back, a royal blue baseball cap with an “N” on the front, black shorts, and white Jordan sneakers.
