Detectives Seek Public's Help to Find Attempted First-Degree Murder Suspect

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating 33-year-old Deondray Darnell Osborne who is wanted in connection with an attempted first-degree murder that occurred in the 8000 block of 16th Street in Silver Spring.

On Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 4:27 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to the location for a domestic violence call.

The investigation has revealed that Osborne arrived in the parking lot of the location and got out of a silver Chrysler Pacifica with Maryland license plate 4FC4143. Osborne fired multiple shots at a victim seated in a parked vehicle and left the scene.

The victim was not shot, but his vehicle was struck several times.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant against Osborne, charging him with attempted first-degree murder and related charges.

Osborne is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach, and call 9-1-1 immediately.
