Detectives Investigate Armed Carjacking in Takoma Park; Public's Assistance Needed

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division, Robbery Section, are investigating an armed carjacking that occurred in the 7700 block of Eastern Ave. in Takoma Park. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved in this crime.  

The investigation has revealed that on the afternoon of Thursday, November 20, 2025, the victim drove her Mercedes C300 into a parking lot when she was confronted by two unknown Black male suspects. The victim saw the suspects enter the parking lot at the same time in another car. One of the suspects displayed a gun and demanded the victim’s keys.

The victim complied with the suspect’s demands and gave him her keys. The second suspect got in the victim’s car and drove away, while the first suspect drove away in the car he arrived in. 

The victim was not injured.  

The suspects were described as a black male, 5’6”-5’8” tall, 160-170 lbs., slim build, in his late teens to early twenties, and a second black male 5’10”-6’ tall, 180-190 lbs., in his mid to late twenties.
