Detectives Seek Information in Beaconfield Terrace Shooting

For Immediate Release: Thursday, April 2, 2026

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives assigned to the Montgomery County Police Department’s 5th District Investigative Section are requesting the public’s assistance in obtaining information related to a shooting that occurred on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at approximately 9:40 p.m. in the area of Beaconfield Terrace in Germantown.

 

Officers responded to the location for reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was inside her residence at the time of the shooting, sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

 

Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, observed any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the shooting, or has information about a possible suspect(s) to come forward.
