Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District have arrested and charged 25-year-old Destiny Iyonna Lesueur and 27-year-old Eric Dewayne Harris Jr. in connection with a stabbing that occurred on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in the 11500 block of February Circle in Silver Spring.
At approximately 4:21 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to the location for the initial report of a vandalism.
The investigation revealed that Victim 1 confronted two suspects, later identified as Lesueur and Harris, who were smoking a controlled dangerous substance in the stairwell and blocking the entrance to the apartment building. Lesueur and Harris then went outside and slashed the tires of the victim’s Honda Odyssey before attempting to leave the scene on foot toward Lockwood Drive.
Victim 2 attempted to follow the suspects while calling 9-1-1 to report the vandalism. During the encounter, Lesueur and Harris approached Victim 2 and stabbed the victim in the face.
During the investigation, Lesueur and Harris were identified as suspects.
On Monday, March 23, 2026, Lesueur and Harris were located and arrested in the 8000 block of 13th Street in Silver Spring by the United States Marshall Service Capital Area Region Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF).
Lesueur and Harris were transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where they have been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, armed robbery, and related offenses. They are currently being held without bond.
